The all new Honda Accord is here with very reserved styling and an official price of $28,390, just $775 more than the previous gen. Upfront is a mesh grill with LED lights and a smooth bumper. That smooth aspect carries to the sides and rear. Sport trim gets black exterior accents, 19 wheels, and a black diffuser. It’s 2.7in longer than its predecessor too.
- This price is for the base LX model while the EX starts at $30,705.
- The Sport ($32,990), EX-L ($34,635), Sport-L ($34,970) and Touring ($38,985) are all Hybrids
Here we have a 1.5L four-cylinder making 192HP and 192 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0L Turbo is gone unfortunately which made 252HP. The 1.5L is paired with a soul-sucking CVT. The Sport and Touring trims get a hybrid system with a 2.0L for cylinder and electric motors to make 212HP and 247 lb-ft of torque.
Inside is very familiar as well with a 10.2in the digital cluster and an optional 12.3 in infotainment screen with wireless apple CarPlay and google integration only in the Touring model along with OTA updates.
Base models get a 7 in screen with wired CarPlay. The interior looks identical to every other Honda today. The touring does add more features though like a HUD, wireless charger and 12-speaker Bose system.
