Abarth presented its two new hot car models consisting of the Abarth Yamaha Monster and the Abarth Scorpioneoro. With only 2000 units of these models presumed to be produced and distributed worldwide, we can only expect that a limited number will get to South Africa. So, if you are an Abarth fan, don’t sleep on these models, because you can just get to your car dealer’s outlet, and realize it’s all sold out.
Abarth Yamaha Monster and the Abarth Scorpioneoro both have distinctive styling features with upgraded technologies inside. Both are powered by a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine with 121 kW and 230 Nm of torque and mated with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo hits the market with its updated version of the Alfa Romeo’s Giulia. The engine and performance are as great as ever, with a 2.9-litre Biturbo V6 producing a 375 kW and 600 Nm, and the power goes to the rear wheels for the Giulia via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Ever since the Haval Jolion landed in South Africa, it has piqued the interest of exotic car lovers. The Haval Jolion comes in five different trims, all powered by the turbocharged 1,5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine pushing 105 kW and 210 N.m of torque to the front wheels via a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Haval Jolion comes reloaded with exciting standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, a 3,5-inch instrument cluster, fabric seats, dual and front airbags, rear parking sensors, keyless entry with push stop/start and a 10,25-inch touchscreen infotainment system connected to four speakers.
Ferrari 812 Superfast
When you hear Ferrari, what pops to mind is speed. The Ferrari 812 Superfast is a limited edition of the model with an upgraded engine and Performance. Let’s start by telling you the Ferrari 812 Superfast is powered by an F140 GA naturally aspirated 6,5-litre V12, but instead of delivering 588 kW, it’s been cranked up to 610 kW. The rev limit has also been increased to 9 500 r/min.
Together with the increase in power, this limited edition Ferrari 812 Superfast adopts independent steering on all four wheels to extend agility and precision through the corners. To reduce excessive mass,, the 812 Superfast is made with carbon fibre throughout its construction.
Kia Sonet
KIA SONET is one of the most attractive cars you will find in the auto market this year. The exterior of the Sonet presents a smart and unique design consisting of an upright stance, squared wheel arches, roof rails, conventional headlamp placement and the “Tiger Nose” grille amongst other distinctive features.

Jeep introduces itself anew to its users with its rebranded Jeep Renegade. The Renegade comes optimized to give better handling and performance. The interior styling and exterior designs experience a few fascinating tweaks here and there. Powering the Renegade is a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol motor pushing out 90 kW and 190 Nm. All Jeep Renegades can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed dual-clutch transmission or nine-speed automatic.
The Renegade comes in four different trims including Sport, Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk.
