Announcing that it delivered a total of 8,405 cars to customers worldwide in 2021, the automobile company, Lamborghini, stated that this was the best result since they were founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini back in 1963.
The increase was 13% compared to the same period in 2020. Last year’s result brought a double-digit growth in all three of Lamborghini’s macro-markets, including the America (+14 %), Asia Pacific (+14%), and the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) (+12%).
Also, the 641-horsepower producing URUS SUPER SUV, which is priced at a starting price of N86 million, is the most in-demand model with 5,021 units delivered. This is followed by the V10-powered Huracán, with 2,586 units delivered, and the V12 Aventador, with 798 units delivered.
The all-time record came after a challenging two-year period for all industries, marking Lamborghini’s ability to thrive even during difficult times.
The Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, said: “This record has provided confirmation of three things for us: the solidity of our strategic plan, our brand’s outstanding international reputation, and the exceptional professionalism and hard work shown by our dealers, who have continued to invest alongside us at a challenging, uncertain time.”
