Since the start of the year, the American car manufacturer, Tesla has consistently teased the Cybertruck, which the manufacturer has announced will be off for delivery before 2023 runs out or early in 2024.
Since the first concept of the vehicle was introduced till its recent production, only the silver-coloured exterior version of the Cybertruck has been seen. However, a matte black version of the truck was recently spotted, and it seems like Tesla has a plan.
The vehicle was spotted being driven by the Tesla Chief Designer, Franz von Holzhausen. The public reveal of the matte-black Cybertruck is believed to be the unveiling of an upcoming factory colour option for the Cybertruck. Even the Tesla Cybertruck group on Facebook disputes that it’s not a vinyl wrap.
According to the post by someone on the group named Joshua Rickards, it’s “anodized titanium layered/coated stainless steel.” However, most people in the group disagreed, stating that the matte-black Cybertruck spotted is only one wrapped with vinyl.
Some Tesla enthusiasts believe the wrap option will appear within several months of the 30 November launch.
