Peugeot has released the facelift versions of the 508 though they are missing the new mild hybrid engines in other products. The facelifts feature new LED matrix lights and a signature claw mark DRL on the front. The grill also has been reshaped and features the brand’s new badge.
Then there are 3 PHEV options making 178HP or 222HP. All are FWD unless you choose the 508 PSE Hybrid4 making 355HP from a 1.6L engine and electric motor.
The interior retains its advanced design found in most 508s but adds green trim and accents, extended Alcantara and leather along with carbon trim. The i-cockpit has a 10in the infotainment system and a 12in the digital gauge cluster.
Peugeot hasn’t released prices for the revised 508, but a very small increase on the £33,945 / €43,420 base price for the entry-level 508 Allure and £35,695 / €44,720 fee for the wagon equivalent seems likely.
At the other end of the scale the most expensive of all 508s, the PSE SW, which currently costs £56,575 / €72,470, will probably inch even closer to the scary £60k mark.
