Infiniti has unveiled the 2025 QX80, which looks almost identical to the concept. The new QX80 features the Artistry in Motion design language with Digital Piano Key lighting elements and a concept-like shape. We can also see retractable door handles, a new 4WD badge, and Autograph scripting.
The old V8 engine has been replaced with a new VR35DDT 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 450HP and 515 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The previous V8 engine had a 7-speed automatic transmission and produced 400HP. The new 9-speed transmission offers a 40% wider gear ratio range, and the QX80 features active grill shutters that aim to improve fuel economy.
The 2025 QX80 is expected to ride on a heavily revised Nissan F-Alpha platform instead of having an all-new architecture.
Moreover, the car has an optional 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System with detailed titanium tweeters, an 8-inch TriPower subwoofer, and a 24-channel amplifier. The interior is unique to Infiniti, with a new steering wheel design, two massive 14.3-inch digital displays, plenty of ambient lighting, and more.
Additionally, Infiniti is debuting a new electronic air suspension with adaptive dampers called Dynamic Digital Suspension. The pricing starts at 120 million naira.
