The fourth-generation Ford Expedition has been on the market for almost four years, so it’s time for the Blue Oval’s largest SUV to receive a more significant makeover in order to stay competitive.
The Ford Expedition 2022 has been completely redesigned! Underbody cladding, unique orange accents, a unique front fascia, 10.6 inches of ground clearance, Trail Turn assist, recovery hooks, 33 inches of off-road tires, and a standard 2 gear transfer case are all included in new trims like the off-road-focused Timberline. A new Expedition Stealth Edition with a sporty attitude, blacked-out trim, and up to 22-inch black wheels with red brake callipers is now available.
For the time being, the engine is a 3.5L TT EcoBoost V6 with 440HP and 510 lb-ft of torque (692NM) to all four wheels with the ability to tow up to 9,300lbs!
With the updated Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the all-new Jeep Wagoneer, the Expedition receives some significant interior changes. The new Sync 4 system has a regular 12in screen, whilst the enormous Sync4A has a 15.5-inch display from the F150 Lightning and Mach-E. Optional features include a 12.4in the digital cluster and a 22-speaker B&O audio system. The Expedition can now achieve BlueCruise Level 2 status, which includes “autonomous” driving on specified highways and a slew of other assistance functions.
